In my world......

FACEBOOK OR GOOGLE?????

I thought my views and experiences on either of those might help those out who do struggle with their choices between the two...

 1. Deception:

Facebook can be very very deceptive. it can lead you down a path that misleads you so easily that arguements and break ups over the book do happen and happen often.
Google is mostly factual. People of here are most interested in discussing whats going on in todays societies all around the world.

2. Drama's.

Wow..... you ask most people today which site do you associate with the word "Drama" and 8 out of 10 people will say Facebook.
I give you an example:............i wrote "seriously??? why? why do that to someone" (a simple dramatic trigger) and the comment score was after just 20 mintues

FB: 8 responses (inc of 2 people commenting twice as i didnt respond fast enough.)
G+ : 2 responses and ended up in laughter.

3. Catchup's.
Great thing about FB is catching up with old mates, but is this a good thing or a bad thing?.......i found it to be a some what good only to become a bad experience. Although it was great to see so many school mates do better than you thought, or worse than you thought hahaha, once the "oh wow great to see you again" is over thats it, back to the way things were before. Out of over 50 school mates i caught up with only 2 remain.

4. Gaming.

This is a massive suck in tool facebook uses. you join a game but you cant complete the game without having "Neighbours", something about being forced to be friends with someone just for a game dosent seem right. On Google i have found some old games that dont ask hahaha you just have to beat your mates (if they played it) score.

5. Numbers.

FB is all about Numbers. like MR Z, the bigger the numbers the bigger he is. this is transfered to you aswell...........Once you see your "Friends" list number increase you get excited and want more to beat other friends.........why? cos it makes us feel wanted, but remeber it is fake they are not friends.
Google, you choose your mates, people can choose you and that is somewhat a genuine feeling of being wanted but its upto you to find out if they suit your hobbies and interests before you add them back.

6 Danger.

The privacy laws on FB need to be constantly changing to meet the criminals attacks. As a hacker in my past years, once i discovered the flaws its was so easy to find out so much information which in turn makes the Dramas so much bigger. Stalking is so much easier on FB as the entire program is designed to do just this so you can find old friends.........!!!! something worth considering and PLEASE PLEASE, play around with your security settings, you cant stuff things up if your reading the things correctly.

to avoid this is FB  i suggest the following:

Facebook: create two groups of friends 1 called "Real Friends" and the other called "Nunya" as in nunya business. then goto privacy and allocate (usually under the custom setting) what you want "real Friends" to see and you can block everything from the "Nunya" group.

Google: remove or follow until your satisfied you want them around.

(guess which one is safer and easier to use??????...lol)

So i hope this helps you think a bit more about which side you want to use.

my Personal opinion is, join Facebook and have a play as this will give you some skills for Google. I currently have both, but i am dying my facebook off slowly as i discovered real friends and people who have the same interest as me and the same level of respect for the internet.
Facebook feels like one massive lie to me now-a-days.

if anyone would like to add some other similar points about the difference between the two please go ahead. no abuse please as this is to be as fair and inpartial as possible.
